Letter from the President
Hello! My name is Kylie Motykowski and I am the President of the American Marketing
Association for the 2026-2027 school year! I am looking forward to this year to foster a
community of like-minded students that are passionate about learning and growing within the
marketing industry. AMA offers countless opportunities for students to make a mark of
themselves in this organization and outside of it.
Students have the chance to attend our bi-weekly general meetings and corporate tours,
volunteer for the community, participate in professional workshops, show their creativity in our
annual t-shirt contest, and even compete in our regional and national conferences in Wisconsin
and New Orleans. What AMA takes pride in the most though is our strong community values
within our group and how that has led us to connect and prosper with eachother!
AMA at Illinois State University started in 1979, and we have grown a lot since then within the
College of Business. We aim to be an RSO on campus that represents not just a general
marketing club, but an organization that will leave you with life-long connections and provides
students with professional and personal development.
I am looking forward to this year leading this amazing group and seeing what we become!
